Denny Renwick got the “Personal Choice Award from Red & Johnnie Deel”
looking for a fun plane. Apparently the “judges” walked around looking
at all the planes and when speaking to an unsuspecting Denny about his
Aeronca he described it as “nothing fancy, just fun” and thus the
award.
Yes it is fun, ... of course that is too modest. We all know the top mechanical skills
and the extra clean workquality of all things Denny touching.
Gratulations.
By the way ... Denny also build a Sonerai II (N 301 DY) ...

At this time with very low drag, because the wings are missing.
